Center for the Advanced Study of India

Center for the Advanced Study of India (CASI) is a part of the University of Pennsylvania. They conduct studies on India’s politics and society, rapidly changing economy, and transformation as both an ancient civilisation and major contemporary power.

The illustration was created for CASI’s 30th anniversary symposium and to celebrate India’s 75 years of independence. The illustrative collage is about people from various socio-economic backgrounds co-existing together and highlights the political scenario of a progressive India.
