Joy Shoes

Patterns have been developed, taking inspiration from the traditional decorative motifs found on Kolhapuri Chappals, for the cloth bag of handcrafted Kolhapuri's by Joy Shoes at The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai. The design is screen printed with three different electric colours on a black cloth bag, which not only adds a modern touch to the traditional patterns but also creates an interesting packaging design experience.

Kolhapuri Chappals are known for its unique look, handcrafted designs with braided leather which is locally tanned using vegetable dyes. Joy shoes is an expertly crafted footwear brand since 1939. Their range of Kolhapuri Chappals are a mix of traditional classics and a blend of modern designs with artistic experimentation.
