Wall Mural for ZS Consultancy
Illustrated Mural installation designed for ZS office space based in Bangalore.
The mural is divided into 7 bubble shaped canvas panels, each visually reflecting an iconic thing about Bengaluru’s Vibrant city life and how the city has so much to offer. All illustrations are composed tightly with multiple line art elements and explains the unique story of each subject.
Panel 1 illustrates the iconic South Indian foods and drinks of Bangalore. Spot the customers digging into vadas, the cooks making fresh idlis, and pouring ‘Filter Kaapi’ (coffee) among other activities.
Panel 2 portrays Bangalores’ metropolis, infamous for its traffic. The urban cityscape is dotted with rickshaws, cars, bikes, and even electric scooters like ‘Yulus' bustling over flyovers and highways to reach their destination.
Panel 3 highlights Bangalores rich culture through historical sites and popular tourist spots like the Bangalore Palace, Vidhana Soudha, Tipu Sultans’ Summer palace and even the 100 year old local flower markets.
Panel 4 is a fun and vibrant type driven illustration highlighting the lexicon of unique phrases, slang, and speech that is commonly used only by people in Bangalore.
Panel 5 emphasises Bangalore’s nickname ‘the Garden City’ by illustrating the much loved parks and botanical gardens like Cubbon Park and Lalbagh Gardens where you can find people taking walks, relaxing, having picnics and enjoying the greenery.
Panel 6 lastly captures the spirit of working and enjoying life in Bangalore. The city has open co-working spaces and cafes to comfortably spend a day in. The nightlife extends to old school pubs, breweries and new clubs all over the city, filled with youth and energy.
